The properties
A calming scent
The blend has an earthy calming scent that soothes the mind and the essential oils chosen are known for their grounding and calming properties:
Lavender is often considered a grounding scent because of its calming and relaxing properties. Its gentle floral aroma can help soothe the mind and body, making it easier to feel centered and present. Lavender has been used for centuries in aromatherapy to promote relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve sleep quality. Its calming effects can help to alleviate feelings of tension and promote a sense of tranquility.
Bergamot has a unique combination of uplifting and calming properties. While it has citrusy and bright notes that can uplift the mood and promote a sense of energy and positivity, it also contains compounds that have a soothing and calming effect on the nervous system. This dual nature makes bergamot an effective scent for grounding because it can help to balance emotions, reduce stress and anxiety, and promote a feeling of inner peace and stability.
Vetiver has a rich, earthy and woody scent with smoky undertones. It's often described as deep and grounding. The aroma of vetiver can evoke feelings of stability, strength, and connection to the earth.
Patchouli has an earthy and musky scent with sweet and spicy undertones. It's often described as exotic and sensual and is known for its grounding and balancing properties. Patchouli essential oil is commonly used to alleviate stress, anxiety, and feelings of restlessness, helping individuals feel more centered and grounded.

Why use an essential oil blend?
In the midst of our busy lives, finding moments of calm and relaxation can seem impossible. The constant hum of responsibilities and the never-ending to-do lists can leave us feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from our roots and our inner peace.
This is where the power of essential oil blends comes into play, offering a simple yet profound way to unwind and destress.
Imagine coming home after a long stressful day and you take a moment to inhale the gentle aroma from Reroot and as the blend fills the air, you feel the tension begin to melt away, replaced by a profound sense of tranquility.
Our senses provide us with direct experiences of the world around us. When we consciously engage with our senses, such as by noticing the sights, sounds, textures, scents and tastes in our environment it anchors us in the present moment. With a meditation oil blend it helps us focus on the immediate sensory experience of our scent to quiet the mind and reduce rumination on past events or worries about the future. By tuning into our senses, we can cultivate mindfulness and presence, which can be beneficial for reducing stress, increasing self-awareness, and promoting overall well-being.
Incorporating essential oil blends into your daily routine is more than just a sensory experience; it’s a journey towards holistic well-being. It's a gentle reminder to pause, breathe, and give yourself the care you deserve. In a world that often moves too fast, these natural elixirs invite you to slow down, connect with yourself, and find peace amidst the chaos.
